Is the A list dead? Is blogging dying?: "What I meant was that my friends who blog who are NOT A listers are seeing their traffic go down — even Maryam has noticed this. I theorized that was due to social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Jaiku, and Pownce’s rise. "(Via Scobleizer - Microsoft Geek Blogger.)
Of course, it couldn't be because it's summer, could it?
I know I've been too busy with work and home projects to even post, and my reading has been only my absolute essential (read: technical Apple/Mac sites), and even that has been only on a "when I have time" level.
Of course, ironically, summer is when Homeschoolers get busy, and never mind that we have the big twin Harry Potter events coming up (new movie and last book).
Seriously, while I keep an eye on how many people are reading my weblog (answer: hi Dad!*), I'm certainly not going to tizzy if my readership rises or declines.
Ok, I'm half-lying, if suddenly my readership jumped to hundreds or something, I'd sit up and take notice, and wonder who hacked my site. :)
*Kidding, I know the rest of you are out there, I can hear you breathing.
